Next Meeting Tuesday 5th April
April is all about poppies!!!
We’re planning on selling lovely handmade poppy corsages to help the poppy appeal in November. We’re starting early to make sure we make lots of money for the original make do and menders!
This is being organised by Jenny & each poppy will have it’s own make, do and mend label.
If you’d like to join in please bring some red/green fabric or yarn & some black buttons. You can either knit, crochet or sew your poppies, Jenny will be showing us how.
Or you can just bring your own project!

March Meeting
March was all about basic crochet
We had a mix of crochet skills….. many thanks to those that helped with the teaching!
We also had some knitting……. Amiee’s large knitting needles caused quite a stir!

Next Meeting Tuesday 1st March
This month we will be learning basic crochet stitches….
Crochet seems to be the craft of the moment.
Please bring some double knitting yarn & a number 4 crochet hook if you want to give it a go (don’t forget to check out your local charity shop, some sell hooks for 10p!)
Remember a large hook & thicker yarn will make it easier.
If you don’t want to join in just bring your own project.
