Thanks to everyone who came last night…… it was a busy one!

Lots of knitted squares being made…….

 

All ready to be sewn together to make tree scarves!!

 

 

But it wasn't all about knitting

 

 

 

And of course our beautiful bunting…

Our next meeting will be Tuesday 7th February.…… we'll be celebrating our second birthday!!!!!

 

 

Yes the Make, Do and Mend man is in disguise!!!

 

This will be a secret under cover mission…… if you wish to join us please email for more information.

For those already in the know please meet at the Phoenix at 7pm to prepare, normal charges will apply….. we'll be heading off for our adventure around 8.30 before heading back to the Phoenix. Please wear warm clothes & bring yarn & yarn needles if you have them.

We'll be starting our 2nd birthday celebration……. we need your help!!!
 
It's top secret at the moment but if you're up for a challenge & keen to bring craft to Exeter in a BIG way then please join us.
 
You can start right now by knitting squares….. these can be in any yarn, colour, any size needles. Squares can be 24 sts by 24 rows.
Can't knit???? You could always crochet!
 
If you can't do either we still need you…… come on the night to help sew.

Many thanks to everyone who came & made the Make, Do and Mend Christmas party such fun.
We had a great time making Christingles & the room smelt lovely!!!

January Meeting

Thanks to all those who came on Tuesday 4th January….. apologies for the issues with the Phoenix closing at 8pm but I hope you all enjoyed the evening.
January was all about crocheted granny squares….
I think you all did really well in a short period of time…. don’t forget to keep practicing!
It was lovely to have 4 new people joining us…..
Here’s a few things that were being made….

As we had to cut this meeting short I thought we’d continue with granny squares in February.
