Back For 1 Night Only!

To raise money & awareness of the RSPCA week I’m holding a one off Make, Do and Mend to get the gang back together!

Tuesday 17th June 2014

RSPCA charity shop, 91 South Street, Exeter EX1 1EN

6pm -9pm

£3 (all money will go to Little Valley Animal Shelter)

Tea, coffee & biscuits will be provided.

We would love you to knit animals for our window display…. please bring your own pattern & materials

If you don’t fancy that just bring your own thing.

Don’t forget it’s all for the animals!

November 2013 – Christmas Decorations

Many thanks to everyone who came along on Bonfire Night to make Christmas decorations.

I’m sure you’ll agree they’re all lovely

Our final meeting of 2013 will be Tuesday 3rd December

It’s party time!

Bring what ever you want to make….. last minute presents, more decorations or just chill with your own project!

As always the fee is £3.50…. don’t forget not only are you making things & having fun but you’ll also be helping the RSPCA Little Valley Animal Shelter

What you need to bring will be up to you but I would suggest the following ….

Felt – try Wilkinson, Pound shops for cheap felt

Buttons

Basic sewing kit

Ribbons

Fabric

Beads & wire – Bunyip is the place to go, ask for advice & the lovely ladies will help

Paper & pens for templates

Mug

We will be in our new home at the RSPCA shop in South Street

Normal charge of £3.50….. money raised goes to the RSPCA

You can purchase any items from the shop on the night & feel free to bring any donations you wish.

September 2013 – The Big Knit

Thanks to everyone who joined us on Tuesday. We made a total of 60 hats this year!!

Well done everyone!

But it wasn’t all about knitting

You can always bring your own project if you don’t want to join in

Last month we were knitting for the Mare & Foal

Thanks so much to Juliette & Joyce….. I’ll be posting them on Monday

So the Big knit is over for another year…… keep your eyes peeled for our hats in November!

Our next meeting is Tuesday 1st October & it’s all about poppies!!!

Once again we’ll be making poppies to support the British Legion, Jenny will be coming along to help us. Keep checking our website for more information & sign up to the mailing list for our newsletter

The Big Knit is back!

Dust off your knitting needles & join us for this charity event.

If you haven’t heard of the Innocent Big Knit you can find out more about it here including the pattern, just in case you want to get started!

This is what you need to bring if you want to join in:

Any colour yarn

3.25mm or 4.00 mm knitting needles depending on your tension…. I will bring spares

Trim….. bobbles, beads, anything you fancy really!

How many will we make this year?

If you can’t knit or don’t wish to knit bring your own project.

Normal charge of £3.50 applies, tea, coffee & biscuits will be provided

PLEASE BRING A MUG!!!
