What you need to bring will be up to you but I would suggest the following ….

Felt – try Wilkinson, Pound shops for cheap felt

Buttons

Basic sewing kit

Ribbons

Fabric

Beads & wire – Bunyip is the place to go, ask for advice & the lovely ladies will help

Paper & pens for templates

Mug

We will be in our new home at the RSPCA shop in South Street

Normal charge of £3.50….. money raised goes to the RSPCA

You can purchase any items from the shop on the night & feel free to bring any donations you wish.

Come & make patchwork hexagons with us!

Learn the basics……. how to use a template, cut out & sew together.

Please bring the following:

A mug!

A selection of fabric…. cotton works best

A basic sewing kit

Magazine pages….. to use as backing

Cardboard to copy the template

Normal charge of £3.50 will apply

We’re going to upcycle a cardigan

Have a dig about in your wardrobe & I’m sure you’ll find one you haven’t worn for months….. in 3 hours you could have a beautiful new cardigan!

Just a few ideas…..

Please bring the following:

A mug!

A cardigan

A basic sewing kit

Trims, fabric, crochet hook & yarn, felt, buttons….. & anything else that takes your fancy!

Happy Birthday to us!!!

We even had a birthday cake made by the lovely Clare

So what did we make?

And our fab bunting this year was made by Helen

After hours of sewing the squares together it became clear we did not have enough to cover the target……. so we’re going to do it all again in March!!

So come along with knitted, crocheted or even fabric squares & help us
