Our Next Meeting Wednesday 16th November

Our next meeting is a week away….. they come around fast don’t they??!!
This time we’ll be making Christmas decorations with the help of the lovely ladies at..
They will bring beaded snowflake kits that you can purchase on the night….. don’t forget Make, Do and Mend members will get 10% off the kits…… or you can bring your own project.
Please remember to book as places are limited.
Normal charge of £3.50 will apply….. 20% for members.

November 2011

1st of November was all about Christmas!
Once again we made some fantastic decorations
But it wasn’t all about decorations
Thanks to everyone who joined us
Our next meeting is Wednesday 16th November
We’ll be making beaded Christmas decorations with the help of Bunyip Beads.
Come & join in the fun!

I will bring a selection of patterns/ideas, please bring….
  • A basic sewing kit
  • Felt in Christmas colours 
     
    And/Or
  • Knitting needles/Crochet hook 4mm
  • Yarn in Christmas colours
     
    If you don’t wish to join in just bring your own project.
    Normal charge of £3.50 applies, tea, coffee & biscuits will be provided… 20% off for member.

November Meeting

Another meeting gone & what a great one it was.
It was lovely to see so many people returning & also some new faces – It looks like the Make, Do and Mend movement is matching on!!!
It was great to see Ruth’s finished Yo-Yo necklace from the last meeting -I must confess I haven’t finished mine!
It was all change on Tuesday with a beautiful new room – more on that in the next newsletter to follow soon

Just to prove it wasn’t all about decorations here’s what else was being made
Knitting, crocheting, sewing & even cake decorations….. mmmm so tempted to eat them 🙂

Next Meeting Tuesday 2nd November

Well it’s that time again….. with just over a week to go until our next meeting I though I better tell you what it’s all about
It’s Christmas!!!!
Our November meeting is all about Christmas so we’ll be making decorations.
I’ll be bring some felt & bits & bobs to make something like this…

Please bring your basic sewing kit if you’d like to join me.
You can of course bring your own decorations to make or anything you’re
working on.
