What you need to bring will be up to you but I would suggest the following ….

Felt – try Wilkinson, Pound shops for cheap felt

Buttons

Basic sewing kit

Ribbons

Fabric

Beads & wire – Bunyip is the place to go, ask for advice & the lovely ladies will help

Paper & pens for templates

Mug

We will be in our new home at the RSPCA shop in South Street

Normal charge of £3.50….. money raised goes to the RSPCA

You can purchase any items from the shop on the night & feel free to bring any donations you wish.

October 2013 – Poppy Appeal

Many thanks to everyone who joined us in our new home this month.

Judging by the feedback you all seemed to like the new venue, it had a cosy feel & was much brighter than the Phoenix.

With this in mind I’ve decided to hold the next 2 meetings there & possibly into 2014.

You all made some beautiful poppies!

Make oct CollageWe also had knitting & sewing.

I was very impressed with my urn & made tea all night….. hence the lack of photo’s!

We will be selling the poppies in the shop soon….. watch this space for dates.

Our next meeting in November will be Christmas decorations

As always the fee is £3.50…. don’t forget not only are you making things & having fun but you’ll also be helping the RSPCA Little Valley Animal Shelter

Next Meeting Tuesday 4th December

It's nearly Christmas!!!

Come & join us for the last Make, Do and Mend meeting of 2012.

Bring any project …… you can make more decorations, Christingles (see last years meeting) or something that has nothing to do with Christmas!

 

Normal charge of £3.50…… any sellers are more then welcome to bring a small section of goodies to sell as Christmas gifts, we don't have much space so please don't bring too much!

If you don't book online you can turn up on the night but be warned we maybe full!!

Tea, coffee & biscuits will be provided……. don't FORGET to bring your own mug!

Thank you to everyone who came to our Christmas decoration meeting……. I hope you're now feeling festive!

This year you can choose your decorations……. search the internet for fab ideas, pop to the library to browse through books….. or better still make your own design!
